My name is Katrina Spivey. I have been married to my best friend for almost 10 years, and we have one son who is 6. When I’m not working, I am spending time with my family. We enjoy anything outdoors really, but really enjoy hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and traveling.
Before coming to Family Heritage, I worked in healthcare as a Surgical Technologist for 15 years. This has been quite the career change, but it is amazing to work for a company that truly wants you to succeed and do well. The environment is positive and the leaders are always there when you need a hand.
I chose a career with Family Heritage because I was getting burned out in healthcare following Covid, working long hours, and taking lots of on-call shifts. I began looking for a career change and saw an ad for Abundance Financial. I truly loved taking care of people, but this was an opportunity to still have a positive impact, but on the financial side instead. No one wants to hear the words “You have cancer” or be in a severe car accident, etc. but what a blessing to have a policy where you don’t have to worry about how your bills will be paid.
